Skillshare is an online education community with over 18,000 online classes and more than 3 million members. I worked with the marketing team at Skillshare to redesign several landing pages that were being used for hundreds of marketing campaigns. Their old landing pages weren’t getting the results the team wanted, and they felt that the design was dark, outdated and generic, which was completely out of line with their brand values.
The goal for this project was to improve the design of the landing pages to be more aligned with their brand tone and target audience, create consistency and cohesiveness and increase the conversion rate. Once we had the new pages ready, we set up A/B tests on several campaigns to track the conversion rate against the old page designs.
The result? A 38% increase in conversions and landing pages that the Skillshare team felt were fresh and on-brand.
